Addison Oktoberfest 2011

Grab your beer stein; it's almost time for the Addison Oktoberfest!

The Annual Addison Oktoberfest 2011 is nearly upon us! This event will feature plenty of German food, entertainment, traditional folk dances, and of course beer!

This authentic re-creation of the Munich Oktoberfest happens to be one of the best in the nation. In fact, the Addison Oktoberfest is listed by the USA Today as one of the Top 10 Oktoberfests in North America, and is annually attended by more than 60,000 people!

This year’s festivities will include authentic German food, a Dachshund parade and races, German Idol (an Oktoberfest Yodeling Competition), a German spelling bee, beer barrel games and races, arts & crafts, a carnival, and a family fun zone.

Dates, times, and ticket prices are as follows:

Thursday, Sept 15th – Free Admission – 6pm until 11pm
Friday, Sept 16th – $10 Admission – 6pm until Midnight
Saturday, Sept 17th – $5 Admission – Noon until 5pm
Saturday, Sept 17th – $10 Admission – 5pm until Midnight
Sunday, Sept 18th – $5 Admission – Noon until 5pm

Please note that area Albertsons will be selling $5 anytime tickets leading up Oktoberfest. The festival will take place at Addison Circle Park which is located at 4970 Addison Circle Drive Addison, MA. That’s just 5 minutes down the road from your Allegro apartment!
