When you buy your produce locally, not only is it good for our local economy, but it’s also better for the environment! You see, most of the produce and goods in grocery stores are shipped from other states and even other countries. That means that it took a great deal of fuel to get your food to you. But, when you shop local, it eliminates that fuel cost. It also keeps more of your money circulating in Addison and ensures that your food is fresher since it hasn’t been sitting on a truck for days getting to you!

Thankfully for us, we’ve got a really great farmers market here in Addison. It’s called the Four Seasons Market and it’s got some amazing vendors. It’s open twice a week with the Saturday market being open from 9am-2pm at 2701 Custer Parkway, Richardson, TX and the Sunday market being held from 11am-3pm at 700 N Campbell Rd., Richardson, TX.

Have you been to one of the Four Seasons Markets in Addison? How was it? Did you find anything particularly tasty? Comments and let us know!
